      “The Biggest Game of the Season” is dedicated to Dennis J. Piron, Jr., head football coach, Batavia High School, in the 100th year of the rivalry (1913–2012), in grateful appreciation for his help with and support of this project.

      Coach Piron holds the remarkable distinction of being the first Batavia football coach to compile an undefeated regular-season record and conference championship in his two years as head coach (2011) — a feat he repeated in his second year (2012).
